ICT PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

As a part of executing its mission, the ITCoEICT has a department of ICT professional training which is in charge of coordinating and running modular short-term proficiency courses in Information Technology. Our courses are especially designed to address various ICT challenges that could be a setback to the full attainment of our nation vision “The Tanzania Development Vision 2025”. These challenges include, but not limited to, the following:
• Shortage of ICT workforce in the local labor market
• Low computer literacy rate among ordinary citizens and civil servants
• Extreme dependence on foreign ICT experts
OBJECTIVE
The principal objective of the ITCoEICT is to promote development of Information and Communication Technology in the United Republic of Tanzania.
