E-learning comprises all forms of electronically supported learning and teaching. The Information and communication systems, whether networked or not, serve as specific media to implement the learning process. The Software used here is called e-Sikshak.
e-Sikshak, is a multilingual e-Learning environment, e-Sikshak provides features like Course Organizer, Discussion/Bulletin Board, Announcements, Assessment, Collaboration, Query Handler, EMail, WhiteBoard, Chat with Indian Language Interface. These functionalities are developed as components and can be interfaced to other e-Learning tools.
e-Sikshak allows creating multiple courses and delivers the course content developed in different presentation formats. The tool supports online registration. The tool has many features to support different stakeholders of e-Learning like Administrator, Instructor and Learner
