This department offers Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 4-6) and B.Eng ( NTA level 7-8) courses in Computer Engineering. It also provides services to other academic departments in the teaching of computer related modules/subjects. It possesses adequate facilities as well as 15 qualified teaching staff and 5 technical supporting personnel. The teaching facilities as well as staffing level both in terms of numbers and qualifications is constant being improved so as to support the of the above courses.

Training programme Modules, Codes and Names

IT Basic Technician Training Programme is an ICT training programme with the objective of equipping students with the basic computer concepts, computer system maintenance and repair as well as Networking; an area not covered by the existing training and education institutions. This programme is expected to develop skills specifically in solving computer and network related problems.
